Brexit Statement: January 2021
The UK has left the EU. There are new customs processes, but we are prepared for these. We are proud to have customers all over Europe, and we want to make things as easy as possible for you.
Delivering to the EU
We have worked with our delivery partners and invested in our IT systems to allow us to arrange and pay for all the necessary export and import customs procedures. That means, for VAT registered customers, when you order from us, you can expect to receive your orders in the same way as before, with no extra charges or administration.
It is possible it will take a bit longer for your delivery to reach you, especially in the early part of 2021, so you might need to order a little further in advance. We will do our best to keep you updated on how long deliveries are taking.
For our non-VAT registered customers, as there was no reciprocal VAT arrangement in the deal, Rex will no longer charge VAT on orders going into the EU. You may still be required to pay VAT according to the laws in your country, so please check on this before you order.
There will not be any price rises. Rex London will be absorbing the costs of Brexit. We also have no plans to change the delivery charges or minimum quantities.
Throughout 2020 we worked hard to bring you new products and designs, and will continue to do so during 2021 as well.
